Where the beekeeper may access the hive without any heavy lifting, and which will foster a calmer population of bees, as the beekeeper has a faster and less disruptive method of inspecting the bees.

This is where we have inserted wax foundation for the bees to build out with comb, for brood, pollen and honey.

Bee packages arrive in the Bee Bus!  Each package includes several thousand bees, one queen (in her own little cage), and a can of syrup (food).

Placing the whole package, upside down, on top of 10 bottom frames in the hive.

We then remove the can from the package, leaving a hole on top for the bees to escape.
